India: A booming education hub


We live in a country that is one of the fastest growing economy in the world. The amount of effort required to catapult a country’s economy and reputation at an elite level is huge. This could not have been achieved without the contribution from each sect of Indian society.

It requires a systematic implementation of the roadmap which has to be done at the grass root level. And one of the visible examples of this hard work is the growth in the education sector of Kolkata as education is considered the backbone of a country.

The education sector in India produces more than 1.5 million engineers per year. About 2.8% of the engineering graduates come from the city of Kolkata. West Bengal has a total of 286 engineering institutes.
